About this project
Flyleaf Creative built an extensive branding campaign for Act French, the French Embassy's six-month theater festival. Flyleaf Creative was first charged with inventing a logo (in the style of old-time stage house marquees) that would distinctly brand the festival and would work in a variety of media platforms (print, newsprint, web and letterpress). To help launch the festival, Flyleaf Creative designed a VIP invite that celebrated the logo by letting it drive the typographic grid. This design exposed the flexibility of the symbol by showing how a full-color logo translates into a single-color mark suitable for letterpress.
